Cap de Rivière is a 19th-century manor house in Tarn-et-Garonne, restored over four years.
When we took it on, the house needed in-depth work to regain a level of comfort suited to today's uses. Networks, electrics, plumbing and joinery were rethought, while keeping what made the place special: its ceiling heights, its terracotta floor tiles, its light and its relationship with the garden.
Lived in today, Cap de Rivière also welcomes travellers from all over the world. The house has rediscovered a way of being fully lived in, without losing anything of what sets it apart.
